Question after Carleys Spay

I have noticed for the past 2 days Carley has been especially cuddly with my husband. Each time he sits down she crawls up into his lap, VERY unusual for her as she is not a cuddler. Now tonight she is gathering all the little stuffed toys and placing them in his lap and all around herself. My camera will not take night pictures or I would send a picture . . . it looks so funny? She has 6 small toys around where he is sitting now and does not seem interested in Sami or playing right now.
Please help me with this, I need opinions from those more experienced with "nesting"? Is this because of her spay and harmones are wierd right now?
Or for some other reason?

Wasen't there someone on here who's poo had a false pregnency after her spay?

When I booked Lola in for her spay (not until February) my vet told me they can have a false pregnancy after it because of the hormonal changes. He was also talking about false pregnancy after her season and said they can give medication to redress the hormonal balance if that happens, so might be worth calling your vet, not sure if that can be used after a spay also?? N x

Poor Carley - I think her hormones might be a bit messed up, but not sure that symptoms of a phantom pregnancy would show up this fast...
Probably she is just trying to bribe your husband not to take her back to the vets ever again!
Or he said 'oh aren't you sweet' the first time she did it, so now she is just showing you both how wonderfully sweet she is...
Hope she is back to normal very soon, poor Sami must be missing his play buddy!

Thank you Marzi . . She doesnt seem to be doing this today, but my husband is on Jury duty and gone until this evening . . so no lap to cuddle on. She doesnt seem to like mine as much . . will come for a sweet kiss . . then off again. She seems fine, still a little mopey in the mornings, but is eating and drinking well. Sami refused his breakfast this morning, think he is a little fed up too . . wants to play as normal and has been called off a lot in the past few days. So I'm giving him extra cuddles today and lots of "Sweet boy" attention He has really been tolerant . . all will be normal in a few more days. I booked him a groom for tomorrow as his coat is quite long now and the matts are appearing faster than I can comb them out! Probably will have to go a bit shorter, he is a little over 3 inches in most places now and looks like a HUGH black bear lol I will take before and after pictures . . husband will not be happy as he likes him longer . . but then he does none of the grooming either!!!
I will be thinking of Lola in February! Hopeing she will do as well as Carley has done!
