some bedding for the crate, vet bed, or padding of some kind,
We have always had a separate bed for lady so she can lie when not in the crate
Some tough toys that she can chew on, you want her chewing toys not your baseboards
some animal cleaning spray...essential for potty training.
Poop bags and a dispencer that can go on the leash...very useful
a kong, great for keeping their attention for a little while.
dog bowls, I have mine on a place mat type thing that keeps the water in

that is a start...lol

I would also recommend a pair of wellies that are quick to put on (I have little ankle length ones - look horrible but nobody sees them!) and a hooded coat that live permanently by the door for all the garden trips you will be making! And some little treats for toilet training. We also put an old stair gate that we had in the garage across the kitchen door for the first few months, that way we could contain her in one room when we needed to but still have the door open. We found puppy pads easier than newspaper and as others have said, lots of kitchen roll. And hand disinfectant! I also had an old ice cream tub and carpet brush that were always ready to go with some disinfectant for very messy accidents. And patience - you will need lots and lots of that!! Enjoy!

Just a little side note:

If you have time, try getting you or the child to, essentially, snuggle up to the blanket (whoever is to be the Pup's master). You should get a blanket or similar with their mother's scent, after they are settled in your scent will be calming to them making them feel more secure.
