We decided to try Nina upstairs with Lola, I was beginning to feel guilty at everyone else being upstairs and Nina being down in the dining room alone (also we went to bed very early last night so wouldn't have been fair to leave her downstairs if she wasn't ready for sleep - turns out she was). So we moved the crate upstairs to the room where Lola sleeps and put it opposite Lola's bed (Lola hasn't been crated since around 8 months). Not a peep from either of them, Lola didn't seem bothered by Nina's intrusion.. We woke at 8am (whoops - Nina is usually up at 7!!), the girls room was quiet. They had gone down at 9.30pm as we were all tired from the wedding the day before. So that was a long sleep and Nina had a dry crate again! I carried her outside and she went to her little doggie loo! Brilliant!

Ruth what a little superstar she is, that is amazing for such a young pup. There is no way my Lola would have been able to do that at her age. Well done Nina, extra treats for you today!! And great that Lola was clearly happy to share her room! Dream puppy!!!!

Nadine, I'm just waiting for the bubble to burst.. She's done so well! We are on cloud 9!! We've just been very fortunate, she's fab! Lola taught her how to get down the stairs this morning. Was so cute! To date, Nina has been sitting at the top waiting for someone to carry her down. So this morning we were encouraging her to come down herself. Wasn't working! Until Lola came along, sniffed Nina, have her a little sharp bark then go up and down a couple of times - then Nina did it! Lola was beside her until she got to the bottom! So cute Nadine.. I nearly cried at the tenderness!
