Bonnie has finally clicked over the house training thank goodness. No more following her around all day and evening seeing if she is about to squat or sprinkle! At times I despaired and never thought she would get there! As others have said it just requires lots of patience and vigilance!

But my carpet has a strange marbled effect all over it throughout my house! Any suggestion of how to rescue my relatively new carpet other than having them professionally cleaned? Anyone got one of those new Aquavaxes?

Pleased the toilet training is mastered .. well done Bonnie and of course Tess :)

Ref carpet cleaning .. umm I would have said a professional clean would be best as its a new carpet and you want it to be beautiful again :) ... I am sure you can hire professional carpet cleaners from DIY stores and do it yourself :)

Ha Ha, when I first read that I sounded like Tess had got the hand of toilet trainign!!

Glad you have it sorted. It gives me hope for the future. Lol. Re the steam cleaning, you can't beat having a professional clean done. They have those big steamers. We have a steam cleaner but it never gets the stains out the way the professional cleaner does.

I've never been happy to prof steam cleaning. It seems to take something away from the carpet, making it a magnet for dirt. Personally I'd think about a new carpet. How old is your fairly new carpet ? Can't you pretend its getting old and need replacing.

we used the oxy clean stuff....I don't know if you guys have that over there....it is the one made for animal stains....worked amazing...my carpet was just a year old.

Have you thought of hiring a steam vacuum? Steam will kill the bugs as it will be forced into the underlay vacuum will suck up all the rubbish. You could try it and see if it is for you there are domestic models not cheap but I believe they do a good job.

Julie my carpet is only 3 months old! We bought it before I had decided to get my second 'poo! Bad timing! Thanks for your all your advice I have decided to get it professionally cleaned and be done with it!
