3 Cockapoos in the logo?

I've wondered that to especially the apricot one

I would be happy to say they are all mine ... but sadly they aren't

yeah thats benny, i think the other two could be just from a google search as the red and white one pops up lots on google.

My kids think that the picture of Benny is one of Rosie.

When I started the site, there were no member photos to choose from. So two of them are from a Google search. The one in the middle is indeed Benny.

Now that I think about it, if I still have the original file maybe we could replace the photos with pictures of our members' cockapoos, now that we have an active member base. Maybe we could hold a contest and the top 3 would get their photos in the logo. What do you all think?

Yeh I agree you cant swap Benny he's earned his spot x

hmm i wonder if it would be too much hassle for us to have a comp every month or something so the cockapoos in the logo go on rotation, that way hopefully noone would feel left out. but benny has to stay the starr of the logo.

or we could have a cockapoo of the week or month section where we vote for cockapoos to siit on the home page, not sure how that would work but iv seen it on other forums.

We could definitely consider a cockapoo of the month contest. Maybe the winners could get a special badge that would displayed next to their username on their posts and profile page? I think it might be a bit much work though to change the logo monthly. I think a one-time contest to change the logo and a monthly COTM contest would work out well.

How does the monthly contest work on other forums? I run a few bird-related forums that do the same type of monthly contest, but they each do it a little differently. I'll review them all to see which method seems to work best.

But as for the picture logo.. keep Benny of course central position... add one of Kendal's girls and how about Mandy Embee's Flo... nice colour variation in the logo and to be honest these members are always posting and a true credit to the forums upbeat nature

ok how about people send me the photos of their dogs eather PM or email, and i will set up a pole for them do you want a week or something to give people time to get a photo they wasnt to enter before i creat the the pole?

Thats a nice idea Kendal ... but think put up one of your girls along with Embee (Mandy's) Flo... you two are fab on this forum and deserve that place in my opinion.. always here to help others and dedicated posters on the forum

lol i thaugh the idea was that the forum got to pick the logo, my girls are pasted all over the forum. lol but i would probably be quite meen and sujest not chocies(sorry all the chocie cockapoo owners) so you get hopefully three different colours on the logo concidering Benny has to stay as he is what inspiered dave to make the forum.

I am not joking ... I really think the dogs on the top logo should be owned by members of the forum, who are always there to help others ..... Kendal and Mandy sprung to mind straight away .. so did Karen (Wilf & Mable) and Helen (Dylan)... but not enough space for you all ...

Only owners dogs though if there is a poll, this position can't be filled by breeders dogs as thats not fair on all the pet owners ...... it not a puppy selling forum after all - its a cockapoo information forum for owners and cockapoo lovers xxxx
