I shall be picking Bertie the cockapoo up to bring home on saturday....finally the long weeks shall soon be over!

I bought his crate on ebay (europets) today

so the count down begins...anytips on what i should do when he is home and how to make him settle in

Lucky you, well lucky and maybe a bit scary?!! Think just about anything you need to know you could learn from reading lots of the previous questions and answers here on the forum, I know I am spending so much time just reading lots hoping to be prepared when we pick up our boy next week. good luck I shall look out for any posts you get time to send once you have picked your baby up!!

How exciting! In the first weeks puppies need to sleep loads so I found it was really important to let Frisbee crash out in his crate whenever he wanted. The kids had to learn to leave him alone when he wanted to sleep as an overtired puppy is not an easy thing to deal with! Oh and remember to take lots of photos as they grow so quickly! Ah we should be just after you then .. I think he wanted us there about 11 but I think it will be more like 11.15 due to dropping daughter off at a party first!
