I waited and waited
For more than an hour
Are there any more cushions
For me to devour?

I've chewed on the rug
And peed on the stair
I just want to know
Will she ever be there?

Under the sofa
I found a nice slipper
I've chewed it so much
And it smells like a kipper

Under the bed
I buried a bone
I'll dig it up
before she comes home

A hole in my bean bag
Entertains me and lo!
How exciting
It looks like snow

Before she gets back
I'll deal with the mess
Or blame the cat...
Do you think she'll guess?
