Does anyone else have a hard time keeping your dog focused? Maisey has an awful attention span. Just this morning, she took out EVERY toy in her toy box. Even ones that she doesn't like. she would play with it for about a minute or two, and then take out another one. It is hilarious!

The problem is, this also happens ALL the TIME. She may be in the middle of going to the bathroom, and will be distracted by the wind, or a car, or the grass, or a plane, etc.

Does this happen with anyone else's dog? Is this just a puppy thing? She is 5 months old, so does this get better, or do I need to do some training to correct this behavior (If so, any ideas on how to?).

Thanks.

lol she has tomany toys, i would take way the boxe and give her a different toy each day only one maybe 2 each day. taking away the ones from the day before.

puppys do tend to have a short attention span but you do need to work on thecing them to pay atention to you.

but yeah thats just puppies.

Axle will get distracted while peeing as well. But what he does is, he will continue to pee but slowly start to walk while still squating. lol Its actually quite funny. When I walk him, and ther are people around he will have a hard time concentrating to pee which can get annoying but I love him so I deal with it. lol
