Hi i was just wondering my little Smith is using advocate to cover him for pests.

I was hoping to give him a good bath (its been raining here for a while and he's a sucker for a muddy puddle)

Does bathing reduce the effectiveness of the advocate???

Beau has advocate and the vet's nurse said to use it a week after a bath and don't bath again until a week after applying it :)

not familiar with advocate specifically, but I assume it is similar to the k9 advantix I use (flea and tick, ya?)

My vet says to wait at least 48 hours after applying, and then make sure to use a soap and detergent free shampoo (so it won't strip it off their skin and such). I rotate between cloud star buddy wash (rosemary and mint) and earthbath (tea tree and aloe) shampoo :)
