Hi I was just wondering how everybody on here applies advocate to your poo's As I've always parted the fur on the back of lotties neck but having watched a few animals cops Houston I've seen them just squeeze the flea treatment on the neck what does everyone do? Xxx

We've always parted the fur so that most of the liquid goes directly onto the skin - should mean that more is absorbed.

hi i part the hair in a few places and make sure its touching the skin but poo hair is so thick its really hard to find bare skin!! lol

Yes your right its so thick its hard to do that why wondered if you had to touch the skin guess i will ask the vet

Yes it does have to be applied directly to the skin. This can be done in more than one spot (on the back of the neck/ down the spine) if needed as bigger poo's will be on a larger pipette with more liquid.

We were always told to part the hair to get to the skin between the shoulder blades. We struggled the first few times but have no problem now (we even got the vet to show us when they were both puppies)

I put some on Dexter the other day and parted the hair and then rubbed it in, I did notice where I rubbed it his fur looked and felt greasy so I presume a lot had gone his fur.

I part Izzy's hair in a few places,but some does always seem to get on her hair x

I find it hard to part Lotties hair as it is so thick yet as a pup it was straight
