Hi, just wondering if any other owners of male pups have had problems after castration with interaction with other intact male dogs. Whenever we meet them, they are completely fascinated by Dylan's scent and constantly lick his private parts and try to hump him. This is really annoying, as Dylan loves to play with other dogs, but now he can't play with intact males as they won't leave him alone. I have heard that it's because they give out a confusing scent after castration, but thought that it would wear off over time. But it's been over 2 months now and seems to be getting worse. Anyone else experienced this or with any knowledge of this?

Yes, same thing with Teddy - doesn't seem to bother him too much, but it can be a bit annoying on walks. I just thought this was normal dog behaviour - just shows how much I know:confused: Dont know what you would do about it though, either pull him away or accept it I suppose.
