My two Cockapo dogs are 3 years old and almost 3 years old.
First we got Alvin, a Bichon-Cockapoo mix. He's feisty, very bright, regal (we call him the Prince), and a spit-fire. Loves to bark (as in guarding the house), loves people, and is expressive vocally and visually. He weighs about 25 pounds.
Simon looks more like a Cocker than a poodle but has the true Cockapoo characteristics - a lovable, butt-waggling, people-pleaser. He's not very expressive but we can usually figure out what he wants. He grew way bigger than the breeder's estimate of 20 pounds and now weighs about 35 pounds. His mom is a minature poodle and his Dad is a multi-colored Cocker.
These two give us a lot of pleasure (and some trouble) and I written about their experiences in their own blog and several ebooks.
