Yes I would imagine it is, as any insectide is made of horrid chemicals designed to do nasty things. You could try the tried and tested method of pouring a kettle of boiling water over the area, obviously not while george is sunbathing :) May take a few kettles full but it does work.

Thanks Karen, that's what we resorted to doing and it seems to have worked at moment:) His little paws had ants in, not good:eek:

word of warning, the gel is usually based with a honey-like substance to attract the ants and it attracts dogs too. I put some down in a large planter, thinking it would be well out of the way....turned my back and Rocky was in there like a shot, lapping at it. Had to wash his mouth out quick smart...not easy. x
