Hey all!!!

I'm trying to figure out what times would be best to take out my pup before bedtime. I've been going to bed early bc he has me up around 5:15 (good bc I can walk/feed/play and walk again before work).

I've read many posts about taking him out right before bed and 3 times he's pooped in the crate at bedtime. Last night he didn't! I used a different crate though and am hoping that's not the only reason why.

Also, sometimes after he eats he doesn't need to poop. I'm worries he will poop in the house but he doesn't go so I bring him in. Sometimes he doesn't poop until hours after breakfast. He pees many times though... Is this normal? I'm trying to get him on a schedule so I'm trying to figure it out! Sometimes he goes right after eating.

Any suggestions to anything I mentioned please respond

I am not someone who ever considered getting up in the night for my puppies so I made sure I went to bed late and got up early instead. I let them out at midnight and got up for them at 5 a.m. I never had a messy crate once. I too walk/feed/play with them early before work everyday and I have always been an early riser anyway.
