I am the Mom of 3 young kids. I have been researching and think a Cockapoo is the right choice for our family. I like everything i've read about them. We had a large Goldendoodle who we had to give up due to some food agression issues. Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good breeder in Ontario, Canada. We live just outside Toronto. I am interested in a standard size Cockapoo, brown or black.

hey welcome,

how old was your goldendoodle what did you try to get over his food agression. i am only asking as 99% of the time the problem is somthing the owner has created, and you need to be sure that you know what happend last time so that it doesnt happen with your next dog.

Thanks for you response. He unfortunately had this issue as soon as we brought him home. Went went to puppy school and spoke to a couple of behaviourists to try to deal with the problem. He was coming along ok for a couple of months then turned on my husband. The behaviourists told us that they can help with us but it would always be an issue with the kids. We had to make a very hard decision but I just couldn't trust him fully around my kids and that was hard. He is now in a fantastic home with no kids and loving it there. But we are a family of dog lovers and would really love to welcome a dog into our family. I have been researching Cockapoos for a while now, and they sound really great.
