Hi everyone
Bailey my cockapoo is one today and if any of the members are owners of Bailey's brothers and sisters, it would be nice to get in touch. I got Bailey from Anne at Broadreachdog.co.uk in Portelet, Croydon, Herts in May 2011 and he was one of 7 litter, 3 black, 3 apricot and 1 blonde. I think Ted is the blonde one whom I was in contact with yesterday and who is also a member of 'I love my cockapoo', hence me signing up. I've never had a dog before so it was a big learning curve for me, but nine months down the line and he is the most loving dog anyone could ask for. He does have his naughty moments but in general he is very well behaved. So many people adore him. it would be nice to know if his siblings turned out the same. Happy Birthday to all of them.

Many thanks Clare and Bertie.
I have already been in contact with two of the 6 litter and one of them lives not too far away so going to arrange a meet. How exciting.

Oh that will be fun :D I'd love to meet up with Bertie's siblings he came from a litter of just 4. Maybe I'll put the feelers out to see if I can find any of them. Don't forget your camera when you all meet up, would be great to see some photos of how they all look.

Hi Karen,

Welcome to the forum :welcome:

My name is Turi and last week we picked up a puppy from Anne. Her name is Saffi and she's now nine weeks old. Her parents were Chloe and Archie. Whose were Bailey's?

Saffi is doing really well - she's so loving, confident and playful. Everyone adores her! We've concentrated lots on socialisation and she has, so far, taken everything in her stride. I have attached a picture.

I hope you find Bailey's litter mates - I did ask Anne to inform Saffi's sibblings' owners of this forum but I don't think they've joined (yet).

Bailey's parents were Lizzie (who has now retired) and Archie. Going by all the pics I've received they are all very spanielish but tend to have Archie's coat. They are so cute. Would love to post a pic on of Bailey but only just signed up and need to find my way around. I'm sure your love Saffi to bits as they have such good temperaments. x

Hello Karen and Bailey!
We are very mad owners of two sibling boys, Bertie and Boo (yes I know not a good idea to have two dogs from same litter - but I did say we were mad!) who regularly see their brother, Teddie (My sister's boy) when we meet up for long walks along the Downs. They absolutely love seeing each other and are hilarious to watch! I tell my sister that Teddie is worse than my two put together!!! If there is a muddy puddle, he is in it (making sure he splashes everyone else in the process!) and he is an absolute whirlwind. We have been so lucky with our two boys - Bertie is definitely the one who wants to dominate but other than a odd skirmish we have no problems. Luckily Boo is not like Teddie and accepts his place!! They are both absolute softies and so entertaining! They are now 8 months old and starting training classes in April, hopefully leading on to agility. Their mum is a working cocker (pheasant shooting), trained to the whistle, and we think they will both love it - keep you posted.
Would just say that Bertie displays the territorial agression to Teddie once or twice each time he visits but when we meet on neutral territory there is no problem at all (he has never once been agressive to any other dog when out and about) - any ideas or advice from you lovely experienced cockapoo owners would be gratefully received! Good luck with Bailey!

Hi Karen & Bailey
:welcome: and good luck with your search. I've never managed to find any of Millie's siblings :(

I see you're not too far away. We do have mini meets in the St Albans/Harpenden/Watford area if ever you are interested.

To get a photo onto here, the best way is to sign up to Photobucket, make an account. From their account you can upload your photos from the computer quite easily. Once the photo is on your photobucket page, just hoover over the pic or open it right up. A box will appear with 4 possible options. Pick the last one called IMG code. Just click on it and it will say Copied.

Then when you come onto ILMC and are typing a comment just right click and paste the picture right in.

:D

Hi Julie & Millie
Many thanks for your message and instructions to adding a photo. I will try it soon so fingers x. I have found 4 out of 6 of Bailey's siblings so things are looking up. Its been so exciting sharing comments on what they all do. Its amazing how much they all look like each other. Hopefully the last two owners will get intouch. :)
