When Saffi and I came back from a very wet walk over the weekend she was really dirty and I was freezing. I was trying to bath her and she kept struggling and getting mud everywhere so eventually I gave in, stripped off, grabbed her and stood under the shower with her. She didn’t quite know what to make of it! If Honey is clean before the bath then it should be fine from a hygiene perspective but bear in mind that puppies have claws and rough pads and if she panics and wants to get out she might unwittingly scratch the children as she scrabbles to get out.

When I was 9 we went on holiday to Norfolk and I swam in the sea with my Cavalier, my daughter used to take our Cocker in the sea swimming too - she had her on the body board at one point! As long as Honey is happy with the bath, I don't see any harm, if you keep it shallow and supervise closely - post some pics :D

My 2 kids are desperate to have a bath with Honey!!! Does anyone else do this or is it unhygienic ? I was going to make sure she was clean first!!!! Strange question I know! X
When we first bathed bailey my 3 yr old daughter stripped of and tried to get in the bath with him but i stopped her, i dont know why i think i was just like(you can't get a bath with a dog) but then when i think of it i dont really see why not, as they dont shed hair and as you said would already be clean) the only thing i would suggest is to just make it as a play/not wash bath no bubbles/shampoo etc as your dog may be allergic to some of these products(well that is only my opinion) id love to see some picsif you decide to..

: - ) Gisgo did once jump into the bath with my son (aged 7). He is always trying to get into the bath and did succeed. Nobody came to any harm. I would not recommend it, though, as puppy claws are just too scratchy and I was very worried about how & where my son could end up scratched! Also there was kid's bubble bath in there and I don't think that is ideal for puppy skin.

Having said all that, my son thought it was brilliant and would do it again if he could......and Gisgo must have enjoyed it as he still tries to jump in whenever he gets near enough.
