Took Stanley out for a stroll to Fradley Junction yesterday to see the narrowboats, cars and motorbikes that congregate there at the weekend. Lots of socialisation opportunity in one place. He came face to face with the hugest pair of Mastiff dogs. He was so shocked at first that he let a bit of wee out. I can't blame him - I'd have done the same in his shoes!
As with most giant breeds they were no more than a pair of softies so after a minute of sniffing and rolling Stanley was having a great time with them. The Mastiffs owners thought Stanley was a wonderful cute and brave little dog. They were so impressed with him.
And I was so proud of him. :))

Fab! I adore Daisy, perfect size for me but I have a huge soft spot for big dogs! I just find them so proud and handsome. We had GSDs growing up and my BIL has an English Pointer which I adore :love-eyes: and a Rotty/Doberman cross who is lovely but a bit more aloof! :) I always said I would have a big dog but with small children and childminding I decided that they weren't for me at the moment. I am so happy having Daisy though, apart from the fact she is just such an ace dog, her size, temprament and cuteness make her an instant hit with the kids! :)

When Monty was a puppy he loved big dogs now he is scared of most of them.

The other week we met up with this lovely chow chow called Rosie. The bloke let her off and she went chasing after the ball with Monty. But due to her size she just lumbered behind him and could never catch up. Was so sweet to watch.

But Monty's face was a picture it was like :eek::eek::eek: as the big dog with fur came lumbering after him.

Mind she she did drool and Monty's back was covered in it. Luckily the bloke wiped it off. Milly just ignored her.
