hey everyone! I recently became a parent to a cockapoo named Onyx! Got him at 11 weeks and his hair was very wavy. about a month later it became less wavy and very straight... looked like someone shocked him. His hair was all static. He sheds soooooooooo bad so at 5 months (last week) I got his first grooming and his hair is straight and he looks like a spaniel. Has anyone had a cockapoo with this hair before? I thought it would be kind of curly. Someone told me it could curl when his adult coat comes in. He's turning from black to brown too... Any advice would be appreciated. So cockapoos are kind of like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get. You can get a pretty good idea if you meet the parents but even then traits can go do down the blood line. My cockapoo doesn’t shed at all and has a very curly coat but I have seen some that look very much like a spaniel. They are all sweet loving dogs that will adore you for life!
