They're a mix between cocker spaniel and poodle. A very good mix in my opinion.

all breeds are mutts.
every pure breed you see was origonaly a cross. the rough collie was crossed with the borzi to give it an aristocratic face.
the briard is asumed to be the cross of two frinch breeds the Beauceron and the longhaired Barbet
the german pointer was bread usingn the large musterlander.
the labridor was the foundation of the flat coat retrever, curly coted retrever and the golden retreaver.
the irish watter spanial is thaught to be the result of crossing the poodle, barbet and portuguese watter spanial.
even today the susex spanial is being crossed with the clumber spanial to bring back a healtheyu version of the breed so the numbers became sparse and breedings were to close.
