has anyone had a dog that eats crayons? Olive is obsessed. With 2 young kids in the house there is no shortage of crayons for her to munch on! She seems to prefer crayola (at least she has good taste), but honestly it's getting a bit frustrating now because I keep having to buy new crayons! I know I have to do some training sessions with crayons and practice "leave it". I think this is going to be a tough one to stop though. She really can't get enough. Do they put animal fat in them or something??? There is a "pretty" side effect to this though. In the mornings I get to pick up rainbow poop in the backyard. Much better than plain old poop!

Daisy will also eat them if dropped on the floor so I am always on the look out when the kids are using them. Rainbow is rather interesting!

Rainbow pooh sounds quite pretty, lol! Perhaps crayon feeding should be compulsory, now if only they could get it to smell like sweeties too!

I was wondering if there are different flavours for different colours - Frisbee seems to prefer the orange ones!

How funny. Alas my boys are too old for wax crayons so Millie doesn't get the pleasure. Love the idea of rainbow poo.

Oh yes, Obi loves them if he can get his paws on them! He's also a fan of marker pens and pencils. The kids used to be terrible at dropping them or leave them lying around where he could get them. I had to train them not the dog...not that they always do remember so I just have to be extra vigilant. Of course if he does get one it's straight to the bottom of the garden for a good old game of chase the Poo!

Seems like this is quite common among the 'poos here! My mom has an in-home daycare and I take Scarlett there all of the time (she absolutely loves playing with the kids!) The last time I had her there one of the little ones dropped a crayon and Scarlett made off with it! It seemed to be quite a tasty treat until I snatched it away from her
