I was told by my vet that daisy would need spading at 5 half months! I've never had a female dog before so I'm confused as several people have suggested letting a female dog have there first season again my vets sais this is rubbish , anyone got any thoughts on this ?

Very mixed reviews, on both sides - before & after a season.
So we're still left confused as to what to do!!
I have never heard of any drastic side effects or outcome from any one on here - some do it before, some do it after, I think it comes down to personal preference, and guidance from their own vet - as there seems to be a very split camp ....?

Ruby is just 7 months, (possibly showing signs of her first season)
My vet didn't say she needed spaying at this young - I'm still in 2 minds wether to get her done.
I'm sure people who have had their girls done will reply with ages and advice etc. I will be reading with interest also.
How is the lovely daisy - she sounds very pretty, any pics?
