He's home :):):):)
We collected him at around midday & got home by about 1pm. He was sick once in the car but seemed to settle quickly.

Since being home he has been a little bundle of joy. I've popped him into the crate for short periods to get used to it & he seems ok in there but has wee'd twice in there. I've taken him outside every hour but he just plays around. In fact he seems quite adventurous & keeps trying to eat all the plants including my newly budding daffs !! He also runs off

He also wee'd on his puppy wubba thing (the one with the material bits on it) - do I need to / can I wash it ?

My main problem seems to be my youngest who keeps running away from him & this getting him over excited. He then screams because he chases

So, about to get him fed & then see if we can get a poo or wee out of him !

Photos to follow ......

Panicking now - he really won't leave the daffs alone - I seem to remember they are not good for them. Then he started crunching something - no idea what & then he picked up a stone in his mouth so I had to take it out ...... the garden thing is stressing me. I'm so worried he'll come to harm because I am inexperienced :(

Polly was the same in the garden when we first got her! Had nightmares! But she's much better now and as still alive!! The garden is full of such interesting plants and other things! She did get onto the compost heap last week and was sick afterwards though!

Feeling much happier now - moved his planned toilet area to other part of garden away from temptation !! Plus he did a poo this morning outside. Not sure of his wee's yet. He squats like he is wee'ing but then nothing comes out. Then once inside he does it !!

Running total - 2 poos on carpet, 5 wees !!!

Don't panic! Very big change for puppy and your family. If you can stop youngsters screaming would be good as dogs have high anxiety to high pitched screams otherwise have a large glass of wine let puppy have some down time as he will have to cope alone overnight. Ifind the worst thing is lots of waving hands excited raised voices and people who want to make friends but back off when pup gets excited. Practice bringing your body energy down and pup should relax. It is amazing how thet pick up on the stimulus around them thats how mother nature teaches them to survive. Decide on house rules and stick to them, hope you have a reasonably peaceful night!

Oh what fun Puppies have in gardens - treacle ate a baby frog - she was very sick for 3 days! Clyde is loving the garden and is happy finding twigs - he leaves the gravel alone - Treacle always had stones in her mouth !
I hope tonight goes well - Clyde has just finished his night time "how dare you put me to bed?" cry - 2 hours last night - 1/2 an hour tonight - but then he sleeps right through until 6:30 am so cannot complain. Treacle looks at him in disgust when he starts!

Ha ha I can just picture big dog tutting at silly little puppy crying :D
Pepper used to scare me in the gArden too. I was worried shed be climbing on walls and falling off, she chewed stones too and she was drinking water out of the grate and I thought shed make herself poorly but here we are a year later with no worries!
Hubby cleaned grate out so it's clean water in there and when it rains she still goes out to drink it the urchin!

My youngest used to run away too - and sometimes still does - and you have to keep telling them not to as I was worried he would start chasing other children in the park and see them as prey! We had the same with the plants and Biscuit used to keep going to the euphorbia, which can be toxic, so I just sprayed them now and then with some anti-chew spray and it seemed to do the trick! Looking forward to your pics!
