Does your puppy make lots of growly type noises when he or she is playing? Oscar charges around like a loon, (reminds me of my uncles springer) grrr grr grrr lol It seems it goes with his play and I wondered if anyone else puppy does this?

He has a completely different grr noise for the neighbours cat I might add !!

YES! Lady is very very vocal when she is playing...I was worried at first as all my other dogs had always been quiet....Not Lady...she even sometimes sounds like a pig and makes a funny oink noise..grunts and all it is quite funny!

Mable does a very throaty type of grrrr which starts of low and becomes more high pitched when she's greeeting us especially first thing in the morning....Wilf does nt x

Poppy is the same, she'll start of quietly playing then have thrashing moment with one of her toys, growling away with it in her mouth.

Phew, I must admit when I bought him home and put him down he imediatley humped my leg all 0.7kg of him , then with the gnashy play I was like omg I have a puppy with small dog syndrome, now I know its his play grr's and snorts - made me laugh the first time I saw him proper growl at the neighbours cat his stance was different too.

He also does a kinda snorty humf when I pick him up dunno what that is

When Coco is playing with a football he makes noises like his having a fight with someone, I feel sorry for the kids when they want to play with their ball

HAHHAHA Lady was a squeaky one too....I called her squeakers for a while

Oakley does grrr when playing and bounce well he springs off things actually ... guess its those lamb looking legs of his he he he .... (he looks like a black lamb after his home trim)
