Just seen this on Preloved :(

So sad, it seems they would like to do a dog share or sell to local family.

I hope they find her a good home soon.

I've never seen a share option before :s strange request in my opinion, poor pup :( I hope it does find a great family! :D
Yeah, sounds quite a stressful idea for the dog to be going backwards and forwards, i think a forever home is needed really, hope it works out for them.
I struggle with some of the ads on there... to be honest ..
they just dont want to have to pay bording fees, they want a free dog sitter for when their arent around.

i know somone who shares a hores with somone who doesnt have they time to ride her horses because of her work, so she pays for them and rides them when she can but a gil comes my friend goes up and spends lots of time with them.
Yeah but they're asking for £250 to buy their dog but then share it, they're not paying the family to dogsit and they're charging for the priviledge, if it was free both ways then I guess it's fair, but they want a family to pay for their dog & then share it with them :|
But it could be what it is.
Someone with a young baby who really doesn't want to give up their dog but knows they can't keep her as they do.
Charging can also "deselect" the wrong people just taking her.
If someone is in her local area, they could contact them, find out some details and we could advertise here. Dave permitting of course!
I understand that, but then you shouldn't be able to ask to share your dog that you're selling, if you sell a dog then the dog becomes theirs, otherwise they should give their dog to friends so they can share without charging... It's not fair on future owners, I wouldn't want to share my dog with anyone, but for that reason I would never sell her, if they cannot look after her then they need to send her somewhere good & stable to be happy, that's my opinion, preloved adverts make me angry sometimes, like the one that was selling a puppy they had only bought 2/3 weeks before because of work commitments, they should have thought it through, it's not fair on the dogs :(

i do beleave that is their situation, but they are wanting dog sitters but dont want to pay for them. they will be wanting to pick a choise when the new family gets to keep they dog.
Am I reading a different ad?
I dont see the mention of dog sitters.
It's for sale or ideally share.
Which could mean sitters or just access to the dog they love once in a while.
I'm working with a family at the moment who want to rehome their cockapoo. They don't feel training is for them, that's frustrating, however they want to work out the best solution for them and their dog.
People sometimes just need help and a solution.

But they're saying to share, not to visit, I just think a dog needs stability or it will get stressed.
I think they'll end up selling... they are just hanging on, there hearts are talking, cos really they dont want to give her up... they've taken the step towards selling but dont really want to admit that thats what they are going to end up doing, they are clutching at straws :(
