Hi y'all!
My hubby and I are moving to another state...I'm resigning from my job and haven't had much luck getting another one so far. In thinking about what I want to do with myself...I thought about openning an Etsy shop. I have a number of things that i could make, but I was specifically thinking about making dog beds/covers, sweaters, stuffed dog toys etc. Do you think people would actually be interested in such a thing?

LOL! Absolutely! I figure people love their pets and will spend untold amounts of money on cute stuff for them (myself included!) so it's a good place to start!

My next project is going to be a dog bone. We'll see how it turns out!!!

Etsy is wildly popular and people love to spend money on their pets, so I think that is a great place to start! I'm not sure what all of the rules are on the board, but if you are allowed, post some pictures or a link in your signature for us to check it out!

Yes homemade stuff is always popular ... you may have to work out shipping costs to the UK, as you will get lots of customers on here good luck in your business venture and dont forget to show us your homemade doggy stuff ....

I love etsy and I love my dog! So i'd definitely buy. I buy stuff from etsy all of the time and have bought a few things for my pets from there.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement! It's going to be a few months before I get anything going but I'll be sure to let you know when I'm up and running! 6 weeks till the big move! So much to do!
