JHC is Juvenile hereditary cataract and is another DNA test for the eyes.

Juvenile Cataracts: Puppies with the condition become blind by the time they are 1 year old, but some dogs may develop this type of cataract up to 3 years of age. This genetic defect produces the cataracts in both eyes.

Yes M&M is right :) Juvenile Hereditary Cataract

I know this is a condition common in Labradors and other breeds ... but I don't think this is common in Cockapoo’s .... correct me if I am wrong :S.. I am no professional :) just a cockapoo owner.

Health Testing for Cockapoos ... I would be looking for the following health testing:

DNA pra testing for at least one parent with a clear result...
Also FN testing for English mix
PFK for American mix ...

Personally I feel if you are buying a puppy as a pet .... one parent being Optigen DNA tested clear is highly important... I have carried out some research on this if you are interested and its all on my blog:

I hope this helps xxx
