I have two female litter mates. One, Kira, has never had a UTI *knock on wood* yet her sister, Ramona, is now on meds to treat her second one. They're not even 1 year old until later this month. It seems Ramona may simply be susceptible, much to my dismay as they're pricey vet expenses.

The vet suggested baby wipes for after each potty walk outside and for her groomers to clear out her back area extra well.

Does anyone have any other tips? Much appreciated!

To bring this thread to a close, Ramona is now on prescription "urinary sensitivity" food. It's a bit expensive, but not bad, and she is mess-free! *knocks on wood*
