Thankyou Kendal, thats good to know...I am constantly trying to find out anything and everything to be a little bit knowledgable when Blossom comes home.
Is it ok to have a few different types of foods or brands for your dog or is it best to stick with the same brand / type?? x

Thankyou Mandy...now going to have a read. x

i know some people who chop and change because of what is on spatial offer in their local store that month. it depends on your dog some dogs just cant hack their food being messed with and it gives them an upset tummy, others have no problems adjusting.

...and when you give your dog a raw chicken wing as a treat, do you have to do anything with the bones? they won't choke or get salmonella will they? x

We used to feed our Cavvie Burns as our local pet shop recommended it when she was a puppy but when Barking Heads was developed we switched to this as a higher meat etc content and our pet shop which is a small business only stocks good food for animals and said out of the two Barking Heads was the better one. Burns is still a good food for dogs! :D

4 years feeding raw and none of my girls have choked on a wing http://youtu.be/A2FuwWjDdb4. i still tend to supervise them with them. i don't just leave them with them and go to the shops. ithem may be in the other room but i can hear them chew so i would know is they were chokeing as they come back to me as soon at they are done.

Yes - they sell it at Goodson Brothers in Knowsley Road, Norwich and also today we found that Jolleys (think that is how it is spelt) which is near PC World etc on the ring road before you get to Asda. When they are old enough to come off puppy food they do loads of different types. Our Cavvie had Fat Dog Slim for a while as she got a little bit lardy and then went on to Bad Hair Day but they are all very good :D X

You are welcome and if any other info you need re where to shop in Norwich just ask :D and yes you can stop off in Thorpe :D Beau has hit the terrible twos and before obedience class tonight ran away several times and then paddled in the muddiest puddle she could find!! I was then moaning to our obedience trainer that she had hit the terrible twos and was being a complete pain when she decided to be the best behaved in the class and do everything right! We came out of obedience and I saw a little boy Cockapoo puppy who was just starting puppy socialisation - can't remember his name as I was so excited that he was the first one I had seen in real life in Norwich! Can't wait to see photos of Blossom and you will be fine as have a whole Forum to quiz lol :D XX

aww bless her...ah all this to come! Good girl Beau, bet she is a real character. A friend told me that she went to the VDubbin thing they had going on at Fritton Lake last weekend (and lots of camping) and she saw nothing but Cockapoos!! She now wants one haha. I met Blossoms older brother Oscar 2wks ago at the Gorleston Cliff top gala....he was clipped very short but I singled him out straight away! I'm thinking people may find me strange as I am just randomly wandering upto people with Cockapoos and speaking to them as if they are old friends (usually I am rather shy lol).:D

Yep Beau certainly has character lol! I go up to people to ask if it is a Cockapoo and mostly turns out to be a labradoodle puppy! We are going to the All About Dogs weekend at the Norfolk Showground which is on the 20 and 21 August. My daughter wants to enter Beau in for the prettiest bitch (must remember to keep her away from muddy puddles) and our friend is entering her Malshi in for most handsome male! Hopefully we will see more Cockapoos there :D

Hi Tammy. Nacho is on Burns mini bites for puppies and toy breeds. Never had any problems. He wolfs it down and has solid poos - other than when he eats something he shouldn't! This morning he had bright blue pooh - Slightly alarming but realised he had attacked a car wash sponge! Straight through! - Lovely!
