Happy New Year!
Rufus and I were regulars here many moons ago. What a fun time we all had surviving our crocapoos. Rufus lies at my feet on a snowy morning. Still a clown, still so joyful, still a seat belt demolishing monster. I envy all of you with baby monsters. What a beautiful ride lies ahead of you.

Hello - I always loved the wonderful photos you shared of your fabulous boy

We are still ambling around although Molly is a bit creaky these days and determined to bankrupt me with her multiple vet visits.

Happy new year! I can recall reading so many of your posts when we first started out. Glad rufus is still bringing that mixture of joy and despair that we all love 😂

Hi Dig and hi 2nd!
I'm glad to hear Molly is still around. Rufus has had a few weird stomach things from too many treats and I always think of Molly and her pancreatitis.

Yes Dig it is daily despair with idiotic Rufus and his seatbelt habit. He learned to "stim" on seatbelts from an autistic boy I worked with. He yanks the seatbelt hard and fast enough to make it catch, over and over. He has demolished upwards of fourteen now, at seven hundred dollars a pop, you should ask yourself exactly who is the idiotic one here? We've tried muzzles, devices which cover the belt, keeping him on a lead....everything, but he always outsmarts us and tears more holes in the belts. People with sock and shoe crazy cockapoos should consider themselves lucky!

Oh Rufus - he always was a one of a kind, hope he is still enjoying those wonderful walks and lakes you have up there.

Molly has now added IBD to her woes so we have a new (very expensive of course) specialist vet and have been working our way through various medication and food options to try and get her sorted. She has continued to be her usual bossy self and enjoys getting out and about although we have had to cut down long walks a fair bit. Currently looking like we have hit on a combination of things which are working so hoping we will have a good year.

Chance has added a hurt leg to the equation which is taking forever to heal so we have been stuck on boring lead walks for far too long.

Beautiful dogs both! Poor Chance with a sore leg. Rufus sends his best wishes for better health for both of them in 2022.
