Hi everyone,

My family is expanding on Saturday morning, when we pick up a chocolate Cockapoo called Rosie. She is 8 weeks old today and we met her for the first time last Saturday.

I have two children aged 3 and 2 who are quite excited about it (but nowhere near as excited as I am). I have no experience of Cockapoos, but I had a dog all throughout my childhood and feel like a home isn't complete without a dog. It's taken me a while to convince my husband, but when he saw the Cockapoos he was won over.

I will post pictures when we have some,

Louise

She's coming from Martinshaw Kennels in Leicester. I heard about them (and about Cockapoos!) from a lady I met walking her dog around our local country park. The man who runs them seems nice and it isn't a big operation. We met the parents and the other breeding dogs, which are only used for three or four litters and then adopted out.

We also met a Cavapoo - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel crossed with a poodle - which they also breed. Just like a mini Cockapoo!
