Hi,

I'm Vicki and I have a 2 year old cockapoo, Maisie and in one month we collect our second cockapoo. I'm soooo excited.

Maisie is black apart from a touch of white on her chest and belly, so a lot of photos are of a black fluffy blob, but in person she is the sweetest, cutest girl.
She has charmed everyone at the local park and I love her to pieces.

I did a lot of research before picking a cockapoo and am delighted I did. I can't wait until we get our new little boy to complete our doggy family.

Hi and welcome Vicki

Love the name Maisie, I meant to call a pony that at one point but took a brain fart and she ended up being Milly.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of Maisie and hearing about your new pup. What cross is she and where are you getting her? Its all exciting getting a new baby!

Hi Vicki and welcome!

Do you have any pictures of Maisie? I have a similar problem with my Daisy she is balck with a white chest and often just looks like a black blur in photographs.

You must be very excited about getting Dandy :D

Thanks for such a warm welcome.

Sarah, we do have a few almost decent pics of Maisie. I will see if I can figure out posting them later.

Helen, yes, the pic of Dandy is soo cute. Strangely we got him after someone backed out of buying him. And my hubbie had been refusing to consider a second puppy, but took one look at the photo and said it's him and no other :D
Although that could be because his name is Andrew and he is hoping that my MIL and I will have to drop some of our favourite nicknames for him for fear of confusing the puppy.

Either way, I get a gorgeous new puppy to love and Maisie will hopefully find him a great new friend. She misses her doggie friends in the winter months as we have to walk in the day when our local park is open and so many of our friends work and end up pounding the streets late at night. Weekdays in warmer months are a joy as between 5-12 dogs and owners meet each evening for an hour or two. We walk, chat and help each other with doggie issues and the dogs play together. Even the non doggie park goers know of "The Puppy Playgroup" and new puppy owners often join us for a chance to socialise their puppies.
