Hi my name is Janice! I live here on the beautiful isle of Lewis with my husband Gavin and two boys Nicholas and Jamie. We have two cats (I was always a cat lover), but then after one of my friends got herself a Cockapoo puppy I immediately fell in love and we bought the sister of my friends wee puppy. Her name is Lucy and she's 8mths now. This is our first dog and I found this site when I was just looking for info about grooming. We all think Lucy is fab (except maybe the cats lol), she is a strange combination of fluffy couch potato and mud monster, maybe it's two personality traits of Cocker Spaniel and Poodle! :)

Hi! Thanks! We got Lucy from a place in Lancashire...Gavin made the trip down for her after we saw our friends puppy from the same litter, it took him all weekend! It was quite a traumatic journey for her, she was a poor wee thing then,so frightened and trembled a lot. She suffered from agoraphobia and got very anxious when she was on her own, but she's thriving now in the environment she's in with us, just being part of the family. She just loves getting out and about now, in all weathers lots of runs on the beach and she loves meeting other dogs. Lewis is lovely, we have some rough weather, but Lucy still has the good summer weather to experience here which I can't wait for!

Yeh I agree Karen! It certainly makes going for a walk more interesting lol....and more reason to get out and walk!
So true! Much more motivation to get out, and once you're out, much more interesting! Though I don't think that in the end it's as much exercise since half the time I'm stopped talking to someone who has fallen in love with Rufus. Quite the ladies man hahah oy.
