Hi

My name is Megan and for the past three days I have been the owner of a 9 week old chocolate cockapoo puppy called Prudence. Her Mum was a blue roan cocker and her dad a cream toy poodle. She's on the small size, her siblings were all quite a bit bigger than her, but she has a very sweet temperament and so far is great with everyone she has met! Looking forward to her getting her second lot of jabs on Friday so that we can take her out to meet the world!

:)

I'd like to shorten it to Pru, but I have been told that two syllable names are better so as they do not get confused with the one syllable commands of things like 'sit' and 'stay' and 'come'.

She's ever so lovely, but I feel very much like a first time mother, completely obsessed with peeing and pooing! :p

Yes, I've heard that too, but you can save Pru for cuddle time, when you're not having to command her to do anything.

I remember a thread while back where everyone confessed to their 'other' names for their dogs - we all have them! Mine tend to be a touch longer than two syllables!

Hello Megan - love her name and her colour. Be prepared for not much walking when she has her jabs as you will get stopped by loads of people wanting to stroke her :) You will probably also get a lot of "a Cockawhatttt"! :)
