We are going camping to Burghley horse trials on Tues and think our crate is too big to fit in the caravan or awning (plus the 6 people going). So the question is and I know it's a longshot but does anyone know where I can get a smaller crate from by Tues (bearing in mind it's bank holiday Monday)!!!

Hi Jayne,

How big have you got - and how big do you need ???

We are only an hour from Burghley x

Stephen x
Our crate is 36 inch and may possibly fit but I would hate to get there and find it doesn't (we are hiring the caravan and having it delivered to Burghley). I think a 30 inch would just give us that little bit more leeway. We have a couple of local stores that I will try tomorrow, they tend to be very expensive around here but it maybe that we have to pay. If not Stephen I might take you up on a visit, thanks:D

I am a bit far away but I do have one :S ... you should be able to get one for around £30 I think ...
Thank Jojo, and Stephen. I am kicking myself cos should have realised earlier and then I could have easily got one from Dogshealth. He could go without one BUT I don't want to get him out of the habit so to speak and if he just slept in his bed at night I am sure he would have a crafty chew at the caravans fixtures and fittings:eek:

Hi Jayne,

We have a spare 30" (a used boot sale find but in good condition) - we have cleared it with my boys (dog sitters) as we plan on visit Burghley too !

If you want - it's yours - we'll bring it - no problems xx

Aw thank you Stephen and Julia but we are there from Tues before the start on the Thursday. I think I might has sourced one locally but I really appreciate your offer:D I will look out for you, are you taking any of the poos:)
No problems x

IF you need it - it's there.

Otherwise we look forward to meeting you in the flesh x (Do you have a stand ?)

We took Buzz and Yum-Yum last year - BUT struggled to get any shopping done as people kept stopping us x

I think that's how it will be with George. No we don't have a stand , just going from the
Tues to Sund and staying on the golf club caravan site at Burghley. Lots of horsey and dog shopping I hope. My daughter has a horse called Puzzle, pic was taken awhile ago:D

Thankyou, thought about one of those but I think as George is a chewer it wouldn't last long, maybe when he's a tad older, but hopefully by then we might not use a crate:)
