I was given great advice just before Millie was finally allowed out. Let her off the lead, give her lots of attention, praise and treats. It really worked, she loves being off the lead and I feel confident she wont disappear. Make sure in the early days that you teach her to find you and keep an eye on you. Hide behind trees and call her etc. She needs to learn that its her responsibility to keep track of you too.

Definitey go to training classes, they will teach you how to give a command without nagging. Quite handy when you're out and about and not wanting to sound like a nag !

Enjoy, cockapoos are so friendly and easy to train. :D
