Hope everyone's good? Just wanted to introduce Lilly and me.
I've had Lilly for a month now and she is 4months old, weighing 7.6kg. We've already been to the vets as she ate a current off of the grass in our communal green outside (lesson learnt), had a blood test and kidneys are fine and in herself, she's well. Trying to make her leave things as don't want to risk that again so keeping on on her leash until she learns and grows out of it whilst watching lot's of training videos. Kinda in a bit of an information overload state with everything right now and realise that a lot of her behaviour is coming from me. Will keep working on things and I hope that I can bring her up to a happy, stable, well behaved and content little dog.

Hello and welcome. They are very clever pups so learn quickly with positive reinforcement being the best way to get their obedience and maintain a happy dog too. Good reward based puppy classes can also be excellent.

We are long past puppy days and both my girls are getting old now but they both still love to learn

Nice to meet you. I was just browsing some of your posts. Your dogs look very happy, content and proud!

They are very lucky to have you to spend so much time teaching them and keeping them mentally stimulated.

Yeah, I'd love to start Lilly in some puppy classes soon - she needs socialisation as it's just her and I; will look into that.

At the moment she is showing a bit of fear around dogs and humans one day and the next she is fine - as I said I think she is picking up on my anxiety a bit so I know I need to be a more confident 'pack leader' when outside the home. I don't want to push her too far at once so won't overdo it at the moment. It's finding that balance.

So many new experiences for pups to learn about! Just take it nice and slowly and let her say hello or hang back as she feels and you will get there.

Thank you - I am very lucky with both of my girls as very different personalities but they both love to learn and to go out and about
