Hi Anne,

I know exactly how you're feeling as we pick up our first dog, a cockapoo of course!, tomorrow evening!!!!! I feel like a child counting down to christmas - how silly is that! Its really strange because my husband suggested having a dog a few months ago and i was against it but then after lots of reading i'm now more excited than him!!!

'Pippa' is 10 weeks old. She is an apricot cockapoo (and mum is a blue roan english show type cocker spaniel). Will add photo and pita patta thingy when have worked out how to. Fortunately, i havent got as long a journey as you Anne - how long will it take?

I'll look forward to hearing how you get on
Hi Wendy, I used to live in Tolleshunt Major, now near Edinburgh. I pick up my pup at the end of July. Will have to come visit you and Pippa when we're down in Essex, my family are still around there :)
Hi Anne too. There are loads of us on here getting our pups this summer so we'll all be able to help each other, and so many experienced owners with brilliant advice.
Look forward to seeing your pups :)

Hi Anne
You'll love it. Millie is our first puppy/dog and she's been an absolute dream. I think the nature of the breed really helps.:D

Looking forward to seeing photos of your puppy.
Really excited for you both Wendy and Anne! Good luck and looking forward to hearing from you both and seeing some gorgeous photos!

Hi Anne, we're getting our pup from Anzil hopefully on Sat as well! Ours could be from the same litter - who are the parents?

I just love hearing how very excited normal intelligent adults are when they are waiting for their new puppy. All these happy feelings must be really good for you.........that could make getting a Cockapoo an alternative therapy.

Hope you ladies enjoy every minute with your new babies.

Problem is Julia, we are all meant to be doing other things - not spending our lives on here watching and re-watching your videos, and waiting for new pics of everyones pups/dogs :D I have been wondering how I'll manage to fit the forum in when my puppy arrives, last night watching those fat little puppies running about (what is in Lilly's milk?!) with my cat on my knee, (he loves these videos, they're as good as "SpringWatch") I realised that I'll just have to get my fill when Puppy is sleeping on my knee! :D
