Hi, I have just joined this site and would like some advice about my 13 week cockapoo, She is such a fussy eater, she is on Natures diet along with jwb biscuits but has seriously got fussy, She will eat her training gravy bones readily but that is about it. I Have tried mixing chicken with the meat, pilchards, white fish, But she just turns her nose up,she had 1 small feed yesterday but even then I had to hand feed it her, and today she is still not wanting to eat her dinner, She is active and happy but Is this normal in Cockapoo's, She has been milbnermaxed and worm/frontline up to date.

Hope you can help.

Hi & welcome!
Hmm shame she's been so fussy, Izzie has always been a bit picky & she just goes & eats when she feels like it, we leave her bowl down because otherwise she probably wouldn't eat it at all. Poppy is really greedy though! Can't really give advice, although I hope someone will come & help you! x

Welcome to the forum

Quite a few cockapoos and fussy eaters ... and none of my cockapoos have been big eaters after the early puppy age, Picnic is my greedy gal but I bet that slows down when she has finished growing..

Keep offering food and just keep an eye on her weight ... sometimes it does take a few different foods to find the right food for your dog.

I feed my dogs Barking Heads dried food ... :)

There are a few raw feeders on here which may be able to assist you if you are interested in raw feeding.

Hi, welcome. There are a lot of poos on here that are fussy with their food, it seems to be the harder you try the worse they get :)
Mine too is on barking Heads and loves it, he was fussy with all other food. Many swear by natural instinct.

Thank you laura, I can't leave food down as other woofers will become podgy woofers, :)
Haha that's fair enough! Might become the case with us will have to see how Poppy is when she's older ;) Don't want her getting chubby!

We feed Izzie 'Hi-life moist food' & she actually seems to really like it, Poppy loves it! We can't get Poppy to eat her puppy food because she's too busy scoffing all of Izzie's lol.

Hope you find something she'll eat soon!

Karen - you are so right - Treacle is defo getting fussier - i am sure she knows I worry about her!
I think they are just so manipulative and clever - Treacle eats when i am away and hubby feeds her and he just gives her one of the many refused dog dinners that are stacked up in the garage! I have bags of every make going!
I meanwhile make her chicken , diced lamb , lambs liver, rice! I know its giving in to her but I can't help it and once you start it its hard to stop!
