Hi,
I am new to the site and have a cockapoo, Lola, who is 2 years old. I have noticed that her teeth have tartar and although I brush them occasionally and feed her Hill Scienceplan Oral it doesn't seem to help.
Any advice please?
Thanks,
Ruth

Raw bones will do the trick. Non weight bearing bones are completely edible. If you have a local butcher near you, they are more than happy to give you a bone and will saw it into a more manageable size too.

If you have an independent butcher near by, they are more than happy to give the bones away, otherwise they pay to have them taken off their hands. Or if you see some on line you can buy that way.

I know you can buy parma ham bones from pet shops. Keep a big bowl of water to hand as they can get thirsty eating these. Sometimes they will eat the majority of the bone, other times may just nibble at it. If they eat it too quickly they may sick it back up, but they should learn to slow down next time.

Oh and once you've given a bone their poo will go quite pale and dry/very dry. All normal. :)
