I have been browsing these forums for a while now, so I guess it is about time I joined and said hello!

I have a 5 month old Cockapoo named Chloe and she is the first dog we have ever had. Actually as far back as I can remember, I have had a fear of dogs so this is a big adjustment for me. Chloe can be quite a handful with her barking, biting, table jumping, etc. She is lucky she is so darn cute ;)

Looking forward to reading and learning more!

I am trying to figure out how to put a picture up....hmmmm....

My 17 year old son begged for a puppy for months. I knew I would be the one doing most of the work since I am home the most, so it wasn't something I rushed into.

As far as my fear of dogs, my mom says a big dog jumped on me when I was little(MANY MANY years ago, haha) and knocked me down and it left a long lasting fear. I am definately getting over that though, thanks to Chloe :)

My kids were exactly the same. When we went to choose a pup, my eldest (24) wanted the apricot girl and I chose the chocolate boy. She was desperately trying to get me to buy both and the girl would be hers and she'd look after her etc. Well she has not walked Dylan once since we've had him, apart from when we were on holiday. That's the only time she looks after him at all. And my youngest daughter is at uni and was back for 4 weeks at Christmas and never walked him either. And before he was house-trained I'd come home to find he'd weed on the floor and she had put some paper towel on top of the wee but not cleared it up! Kids enjoy a game or a cuddle with them, but rarely want to do the day to day care.

A lot of us here can relate to the 'handful' Teddy is 10 months and still being naughty like Chloe. He is now lying across my shoulders like butter wouldn't melt, after playing havoc today though. Thats what gets them off with all their shenanigans:)

I am glad I am not the only one with a "naughty" puppy. I don't always know what is normal puppy behaviour since I haven't been around them much. I do get worried that she is more agressive than she should be.

Chloe is brown and white. I tried to upload pictures to the gallery but it keeps telling me that I failed :( and there is no teenager around to help me right now, haha.

I did manage to upload a few pictures to photobucket. I am not even sure that I am doing THIS right, but here is the link...I think!

hey edited your post to add the photos, when your in photo bucket if you hover your courser over the photo it will give you a list of coads, click on the last one, it will copy it then just past it into you post.

she is lovely, like a cross between my Echo and Delta. that is very deep snow, how long did it take to dig that trench for her.

Aww,thanks everyone :) A couple of people have actually told us that Chloe has "people eyes".

And thank you Kendal for putting the pictures in for me. You make it sound so easy to do!

My husband spent a lot of time making paths through our backyard for Chloe to play. We have had a ton of snow this year, ugh. I don't even want to think about the puddles and mud ...and CHLOE!...once it gets warmer.
