I thought I was getting somewhere with the toilet training. Charley, up to yesterday had started standing at the door when he wanted the toilet. However since yesterday he has started leaving puddles and little parcels back in the house. Is this normal? I haven't been going outside with him as regulary as I have previously done so,so do I need to start again.

Keep going, we were very frustrated too but just persevere. We used a key words "toilet " we still take Stanley out every couple of hours say the word and he goes. He's nearly 7 months now. We don't like to force him to tell us when he needs to go. We've found that he seems to know we're gonna let him out before too long so he rarely needs to tell us. I also find that it's too easy to miss the signs that they need to go. You'll get there in the end Good luck
