I accosted a man on the high street yesterday, with his gorgeous black, curly 15 month old cockapoo, Oscar. His wife came over too and we had a big poo chat :) Oscar was gorgeous and I had a lovely cuddle with him, it was just a shame I didn't have Izzy with me.

Reading that back, I sound mad :D I don't see many cockapoos, have only actually met 4 before (apart from at JDLand)

It's ok Ali....we all understand! ;) :D

Oscar sounds lovely and at least they wanted to talk to you. I met a woman in Cornwall last year who was quite offish and I felt a bit silly (no change there then!) for approaching her!

'ah sweet dog, is it a cockapoo?' me enthusiastically
'no its a spoodle' man rather tersley
'yes all these are spaniels crossed with poodles' indicating the 8 dogs running around..... absolutely NO interest from the bloke or wife who proceeded to put dog on lead and walk off....

I met Lizzie 5 mths old yesterday on Clapham common and nearly hyperventilated.she looked so like puppy Pushca... So I picked her up without asking and snuggled her. Owners thought I was completely mad! Pushca wasn't happy but neither was boyfriend but Lizzie seemed to be....
