The paths on the school walk this morning were just awful, I got my daughter into school and then started to head home, I was walking slowly and carefully on the ice when I slipped, honestly I must have looked so funny, my feet were going backwards and forwards trying to get my balance back, anyway, just at the moment I felt I regained my footing Freddy decided to move - and I ended up on my bottom sat on the pavement
I was SO embarassed
Freddy came over, gave me a lick and I got to my feet as quickly as I could!
The thing is, since then, every time I have ventured on to the ice again, Freddy has slowed his pace (usually he is eager to get everywhere and quickly!) and he keeps glancing up at me to check I'm ok.
How sweet is that! I feel like I have my own assistance dog!
