I have been reading so much information on this forum and have to say a big thank you to everyone who shares their experiences. I have found the answers to so many questions here and learnt a lot of things I should be doing to take care of Amber that I knew nothing about. Our family has never owned a dog before and to be honest I never thought we would. We were very excited when we made the decision to get a dog for a "pet" but have all been blown away with just how much we have fallen in love, she is not a pet but a new and valid member of the family. Oh, what we have been missing out on all these years!
