Hi,

We just got a beautiful cockapoo puppy called 'Buster'

It would be great to keep in touch with people on here to talk about cockapoos and maybe meet for walks etc.... :)

Only had him 3 days and he cries at night :( breaks my heart but got to leave him be :(

He is a beaut though. More Cocka than poo!

Hi

I am from Aldridge near Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands.

Buster was from F1 mum and Dad - does that make him F2? I'm not sure haha.

He is doing a fair bit of crying and barking in the night but we have him in a crate. He must lie down next to you and follows you everywhere! Very cute. We have had poodles before and he doesn't have many poodle traits haha.

His eyes are just gorgeous!

Looknig forward to lots of fun and good times with him :))

Thanks Karen.

Great Val! He will have his lifetime injection tomorrow and then we can get him on a lead! haha, should be fun :) Be good to socialise him can't wait.

I want to take him to puppy training classes too, do you know of any good ones in the area?

Thanks

I take Milo on a Friday evening to one recommended by my vet,I will pm you the details.I struggled to find one that took puppies of the same age. This class ,the age of the puppies vary and it's on going until they reach a certain standard and then progress to the next class.I have a horrible feeling me and Milo are in this class for the long haul.I seem to have the naughty boy,he is so excited to meet other pups he thinks he has gone there to play, but don't let me put you off ,I've have witnessed some well behaved dogs doing what was asked of them. They are taught sit, stay, down, give and recall, meet and greet and to walk past other dogs without jumping on them. Also to walk to heel. All of which as gone over Milos head apart from the meet and greet and lets have a jolly time and play and maybe sit just to fool me into thinking we are getting somewhere. Do ask your vet if he can recommend one.

Going to check out a traniing class on Sunday morning, in Aldridge at the old airport.

£30 for 6 weeks, not sure if that is good or not? Going to have a look first though :)

Can't wait, he is already really good at sit, fetch, come! I guess the breed is generally clever. We haven't socialised him yet with other dogs so that bit could be intersting! haha
