Hello,
My wife and I have been looking for a dog for a while and we have just been offered a toy cockerpoo puppy. Although we work at home and so would be there for it on a daily basis, we are keen walkers and would like to have a dog we could take on a day's hike across the fells. From what I've been able to find cockerpoos are pretty up for exercise and would enjoy it, but would this be too much for a toy cockerpool? Any advice welcome.

Hi

I have a 4 year old toy cockapoo, she is very active and can walk for miles. I have never known her to get tired and stop. You just have to be aware that there are suggested walking time restrictions for puppies up to a certain age, something to do with their soft bones if I remember rightly. It might be worth a google search. I think as long as it is done gradually you should be fine.
