Is it too soon for an Equifleece?

Had Hattie out on Dartmoor today weather so different from at home at least 5 degrees colder and awful wet mizzle! Think time to order equifleece as am convert with horse rugs. Should I add a couple of extra inches to allow for her to marture? Am reminded of Grace Brothers sit com in that it will ride up with wear! I intend to get two one to wear in the wet rough then put dry one on in car as they wash and dry in an instant, also will be consulting my local groomer to perhaps trim feet and eyebrows maybe even coat as she is out in the rough often and very soggy. Is it essential to wait until adult coat or can we get a trim.

Lola was about 4 months when i got her equafleece, i got it a little larger so that she had 'growing room' an *touch wood* she still has room at 6 months. She measured 16" so i got a 18-20" (they do that as a double size, not sure why as they do a 16", 18-20", 22", 24",26" etc-who knows!)

As for the trim, a puppy trim shouldn't be a problem now and might make it easier to keep her a (little) bit drier and cleaner!!:)

Yes, I thought it was funny how the sizes went up by 2" except the 18-20"...
I originally got the 16" for betty at about 6 Months ..it was slightly tight so swapped it for the 18-20" which is a bit big. Betty is 6.5kgs and about 11 inches tall...it may give you and indication Sue..

I am interested in getting an equafleece too but wondered which style people thought was best? Am quite keen on the jumper as it might help with the muddy field walks but thought it might be difficult to get on??

Any comments most welcome?
I have got the jumper one and I love it!!

I find it really easy to get on Rigby and he doesn't mind wearing it at all
