Went to lunch with a friend of mine today(I know how to live!) she is a nurse practitioner at an NHS drop in centre. One of her clients this week was a lady with an ankle injury having tripped over her Cockapoo! Apparently she wanted a dog with a bit of get up and go but got a bit too much. Collecting Hattie next week hope this isn't an omen! Must watch where I walk!

Haha, i'm sure you'll be fine :)
It's more the case of they follow you around when you least expect it (like you think they're sleeping on the sofa next to you) & next thing they're at your feet in the kitchen etc.. So just keep an eye out for stalking cockapoos ;) That's the mian problem! & probably why she tripped over it not realising it was there!
Good luck with Hattie :)

I think my biggest worry is boo getting a broken ankle!! Lol, no matter where i am she is always at my feet! She has been stepped on so many times bless her, im suprised she can walk at all! :D
I agree! I stood on Poppy twice tonight already! Not all my weight because I felt her under me thank god! Because one time was almost a crushed head, how awful! & i still managed to do it again! i didn't hurt her though she didn't even cry as if it could have hurt, phew :D
So if anything we're the big meanies not the dogs haha :)

Years ago I was out riding and my cairn Brian was out with us, I happened to mention his name whilst talking to my companion he stopped and my horse plus me total weight around 570kg stood on his foot! He screamed a bit but amazingly no bones broken although he did have a bit of an outturned foot. Too much traffic to ride out with dog these days so Hattie will be spared that experience!

WOW! Poor little pup, that must have hurt!
My Izzie doesn't understand horses so i'd dread to think I was with them both together!
The other week I took her for a walk & there was a horse that we could see walking & as we passed it Izzie tried to chase it!
I was scared because I know horses will kic out & things if they feel threatened but luckily we called her & she followed! Phew :)
