Hi all!

Its been a long time since I last posted on here, mostly because I have recently started a new job and have been settling into my new routine! hehe! Plenty has been going on since I last updated tho.

Maggie has turned one and has now been with us for just over a year. On my birthday (maggie was kind of a bday pressie from my bf) she went into season! hooooray! I had been worried I wouldnt notice however there was no danger I would miss it hehe, she has been like a different dog the last few wks.

Unfortunately this has meant she has missed the start of her new training class. Embarrassingly I have been going on my own and having to explain to all the other dog owners about her condition. It is a clicker training class and we have been practicing at home it seems that she is picking it up really well. However this morning I am going to have to go buy a new clicker cos stupid owner has lost the other one hehe!

We have also started agility with the same trainer, again her season has put a spanner in the works but we were both really enjoying it until then. Apparently maggie is unaware she has back legs. We just need her to be a bit more focused on me so im hoping the combination of clicker training and agility will help with this.

Her other new trick is that she has started singing to babies on the TV. Her fave advert is the huggies one, I will post a pic and a video in a min. I only know how to do it from my phone and am on my laptop!

So whats everyone elses news? What have I missed?

Scalped is good in the heat .. my girls are quite short at the moment but may go a bit shorter if this hot weather continues ... they are very chilled at the moment and we arehaving early morning or late night walks ...

Yes Fudge Muffin is coming home this weekend.. so I may be a bit quite for a while, enjoying choccy poo cuddles .. lol

Hello Emma, welcome back! Maggie is looking gorgeous and her coat is so long or should I say 'was' long. I've decided to go really short with Obi next week as he is struggling so much in the heat too. He can have longer fur when it cools down in the Autumn.

Great that you've started Agility, thats next on my list of things to do as well.

hey Mandy thanx. I see u have a beautiful new puppy too! I wish I could have another hehe! She is about 16-17 inches to her shoulder I think but I will get the measuring tape out soon and double check. She is approx the size of a small collie. I love her size. Altho folk always think she is a baby labradoodle. Emma x

Emily I totallyl know how that feels before I took Maggie home I used to trawl the photos here looking for dogs I thought she would look like. Here is a few photos for you of Maggie that I have posted over the past year.

Mandy is Kenya a miniature poodle mix? Isnt it amazing that they have turned out so similar.
